Quan Quan

A Site-Specfic Dance at Cáfe cum Bookstore

QuanQuan (means circling) is a site-specific dance,

in which the performers, inspired by a particular location,

move through its conceptual space with interpretative movements.

By letting scents act as guides, and incorporating ordinary objects as dance partners, QuanQuan invites the audience to complete the journey,

in hopes of finding joy in life's smallest things.

Project Started by Ivy Tsui from 2011 at Beijing. She missed Hong Kong so much when she join Body Acts in Beijing as a full-time creative dancer. Kubrick Bookstore cum cafe was one of her favourite place to hang out and hug by the comfortable surroundings. The work first première at 2011 June.
